Dr Thomas Humphreys

At a meeting of several members of the Medical Profession held at Bangor, Caernarvonshire on the 27th day of July 1849, John Roberts M.D. was requested to take the chair and D. Kent Jones Esq. to act as Secretary pro temp.

Resolutions were passed relative to Poor Law Medical ……… etc. etc. and John Lloyd Esq. Llangefni proposed the formation of a North Wales branch of the Provincial Medical and Surgical Association, which was seconded by Thomas Humphreys Esq. Bangor and unanimously approved.

Nov. 6, 1849       Meeting at Rhyl.
June 4, 1850       First Annual Meeting, Rhyl.

I have examined the minutes of the meetings held last century and can find no record of Dr. Thomas Humphreys’ attendance at any, or even of apologies for his absence having been received.
