This site is dedicated to the family of William Jones, an Anglesey farmer who sailed from Liverpool to Melbourne, Australia, in 1852, to find gold. I am his great great grandson and namesake, and over the next few months will build the family archive online, using the documents collected, catalogued and transcribed by my father Ellis Jones.
