Glyn Frank Jones

Col G F Jones OBE was born on 6 July 1894, the second son of William Humphreys Jones and Eleanor Catharine Jones, and died on 27 May 1975. He married Mary Evelyn Morgan.
He served for 21 years in the Army, in the Glamorgan Yeomanry, the Royal Welch Fusiliers and the 7th Hariana Lancers, Indian Army, which became the 18th King Edward VII Own Cavalary.
He was awarded the Royal Humane Society Certificate for Life-saving.
He was wounded in the 1931 rebellion in Burma, and was awarded the Kings Police Medal for bravery.
